The Red Cat Series is a collection of portraits created with Midjourney. Each cat represents a different profession or type, and the series was designed to determine why Midjourney can create stunning portraits but avoids creating full-body images where the face is visible. By placing the cats in neutral, post-industrial settings and using a red dress to reinforce the tension between them and their surroundings, Midjourney created an arc of tension evident in each portrait.
Today, Nintendo announced that it will release two new entries in the Yo-Kai Watch series, Yo-Kai Watch Blaster: Red Cat Corps and Yo-Kai Watch Blasters: White Dog Squad for the 3DS on September 7. The games will depart from its roots and act as an action-RPG that supports local and online multiplayer.

On Sept. 7, two new games in the YO-KAI WATCH series are coming to the Nintendo 3DS family of systems. And these new YO-KAI WATCH games are unlike anything the series has seen before! In the YO-KAI WATCH BLASTERS: Red Cat Corps and YO-KAI WATCH BLASTERS: White Dog Squad games, team up with up to three other friends either locally* or online to fight towering Big Bosses, using skills and powerful Soultimate Moves. While previous YO-KAI WATCH games focused on turn-based battles, YO-KAI WATCH BLASTERS drops you into real-time skirmishes in the first ever action-RPG for the series. During these battles, you directly control your Yo-kai as you strategize with different skills and equipment to defeat huge bosses. By taking on various fast-paced missions, you will embark on a journey to meet, befriend and battle more than 400 new and returning Yo-kai. Check out the trailer for the new games right here.
Veterinarians usually start the diagnostic process for bloody poop in cats by asking a series of questions. Your answers will help the doctor identify which tests to run first. Be prepared to provide information about the following:
The charts on this page can be downloaded (right click and "save as") full size for use in breed tutorials and web-pages. This page doesn't go into inheritance genetics in depth, but is intended to depict the range of colours and patterns. Any genetics contents is extremely simplified! Similar color charts have appeared in Wright & Walters (The Book of the Cat, 1980) and in Robinson's Genetics (1977 onwards) and I've updated those with recent developments and made them freely available. The charts are laid out in the normal 2-axis format seen in textbooks: the most dominant allele is at the left (black) and in descending order of dominance to the most recessive allele on the right (cinnamon). Below that are the two dilution modifiers. The eumelanin (black) series and the phaeomelanin (red) series are alongside for comparison. In several cases, I've taken the liberty of coining terms for certain patterns for ease of describing something not formally described by a cat fancy standard (some of these terms have since been used by other people creating their own charts from my information). There are also charts of 2 sought-after patterns that haven't been confirmed in cats. This page may load slowly due to the number of downloadable images.
Although white spotting is depicted as a continuous series from no white through to wholly white, there are believed to be genes, not yet identified, for the white throat locket and white brisket spots. When bred together, cats with a white throat locket and/or white brisket spots do not produce cats with higher degrees of white spotting because they do not have the main white spotting gene.
An agouti gene inherited from the Asian Leopard Cat has given rise to another modified tabby pattern in the Bengal and Savannah (which has some Bengal ancestry). The charcoal pattern reduces the amount of rufousing (red tones) in the coat giving it cooler, greyer tones. It affects the markings to produce a dark nose, dark "Zorro" mask on the face and a dark cape on the back. Charcoal is a pattern, rather than a colour, and in Bengals it can be combined with silver (inhibitor), sepia, mink and snow colours (from the colourpoint series).
This gene has not yet been seen in cats, but in dogs it is an allele (alternative gene) at the agouti locus, while in rabbits it is a combination of agouti and extension genes. This chart is a suggestion of how colour-and-tan cats would look if the mutation occurred. Theoretically it could be combined with white spotting, colourpointing and silver/golden series. The possibility of tabby-and-tan patterns would depend on how the tan gene, if it occurred in cats, interacted with existing genes.
This gene has not yet been seen in cats, but is found in dogs. Broadly speaking it manifests as patches of dense colour on the equivalent dilute e.g. black patches on a blue background, black patches on caramel, red patches on cream. This is different from tortie where the patches are a mix of a black-based colour with a red-based colour. The only instances of this phenotype in cats have been chimeras where one cell line has the dense colour (e.g. black) and the other has the corresponding dilute colour (e.g. blue). Theoretically it could combine with existing colours and patterns, but would only show to good effect on dilute-coated cats e.g. a blue/cream tortie with black patches, or a lavender (lilac) tabby with chocolate patches. Theoretically these could also be combined white spotting, colourpointing and silver/golden series. The chart shows how merle might manifest in cats should the mutation occur.
Standing just 8 to 10 inches tall, the African black-footed cat resembles a petite version of your average neighborhood tabby. But though the speckled feline is unequivocally adorable, a vicious, adept killer lies beneath its charming exterior.
Producer Gavin Boyland tells Weisberger that the filmmakers worked with Cologne Zoo curator Alexander Sliwa to secure footage of the elusive feline. Unlike big cats, the black-footed cat tends to disappear into the tall grasses of the African savannah, making its exploits difficult to track via camera. Luckily, the zoo had previously outfitted several South African-based cats with radio collars, allowing the team to detect their nocturnal hunts with the help of an advanced light-sensitive camera.
Luke Hunter, Chief Conservation Officer at the feline-centered Panthera organization, tells Weisberger that the black-footed cat, which kills an average of 10 to 14 rodents or small birds every night, has an accelerated metabolism that requires it to hunt almost non-stop.
The first subset of Cat monsters is designed after members of the -Eyes Dragon series from the first six main anime series and the concept of Schrödinger's Cat, used by Kit Schrödinger. The "Schrödinger's Cat" thought experiment says that if somebody were to put a cat and something that can kill the cat in a box together and close it, then the cat can be considered both dead and alive until the box is opened again to confirm it. With this, Odd-Eyes Twin Tail Cat represents both "alive" and "dead" with its dual-colored eyes, but needs Blue-Eyes White Cat (life) and Red-Eyes Black Cat (death) on the field to activate its effects. The effects of the Spell and Traps also represent this, as the outcome they pick is both right and wrong until the card type of the card sent to the Graveyard to use cards' effect is revealed.
Yo-kai Watch Blasters is an expansion on the Blasters gameplay that was first introduced in Yo-kai Watch 2: Bony Spirits and Fleshy Souls as well in Psychic Specters. Four players will face up against other Yo-kai and Boss Yo-kai, which in the game the player will as different Yo-kai and go around town in a beat 'em up action style. Players will team up to form groups of four to take on all Yo-kai, including some bosses. The game series also supports online multiplayer.
In Japan when obtaining the physical version of Red Cat Corps, the players will receive a medal for Rubeus J, while obtaining White Dog Squad, the players will receive a medal for Hardy Hound. Usapyon was actually meant to make a debut in Yo-kai Watch 3, which makes the Yo-kai Watch Blasters series his first debut in the Yo-kai Watch video games. Whisper can be used in White Dog Squad as well as his past form, while in Red Cat Corps, Rudy can be used.
Lillian Jackson Braun died. She was 97, and writing till the last. However, the last two published books in the series had some loose ends, as though she was getting tired. It does help to read the series in order, and you can find the books for a very reasonable price on Amazon, or in thrift shops.
